23-27 June 2025: Talent Academy – Brescia, Italy

10 March 2025

How can we better engage tenants to raise awareness of climate protection? The Talent Academy 2025 will focus on this important question. Participants from diverse roles and countries will head to Brescia, Italy from 23-27 June for a week of group work, networking, workshops and study visits

The professional development and wellbeing of our employees is a top priority. We want to build rewarding working environments that attract and retain talent.

The Eurhonet Talent Academy is a unique opportunity for employees in the public and social housing sector to learn from housing experts, CEOs, and each other. Every year, we select 24 rising stars from across our membership countries. During the week-long programme, we encourage our participants to take initiative, use innovative approaches, and challenge their current ways of working.

What happens at the Talent Academy?

Divided into small, interdisciplinary groups, Talent Academy participants work together to develop a strategy on an issue currently impacting public and social housing providers. At the end of the week, the teams present their work in front of a professional jury and receive feedback from experts. We combine group work with seminars, workshops, study visits, and networking opportunities.

Tenant engagement: raising awareness of climate protection

Each year, the Talent Academy focuses on a different theme affecting public and social housing providers. This year, participants will be tasked to devise a tenant engagement strategy to raise awareness of climate protection. Working in groups, they will focus on:

  • Developing a concept to promote awareness of user behaviour, so that tenants use water, energy and heat resources sensibly and sparingly;
  • Examining the savings potential in the form of costs for rent and CO2;
  • How can CO2 be saved with low-investment measures in housing stock?

Who can join the Talent Academy?

Participants of all ages, in all roles and from all disciplines can attend the Talent Academy. Their role does not need to correspond in any way to the theme of the event, as the variety of perspectives and approaches is what makes the experience so rich.

The Talent Academy aims to develop the skills of our future leaders. As such, it is intended for employees who are not currently in top management positions.
