We are proud to be hosting a session at the International Social Housing Festival (ISHF) with the European Federation for Living and Cooperativa Sole. The key focus of the session will be co-production and storytelling.
The International Social Housing Festival – an initiative of Housing Europe – will take place on 4-6 June 2025. This year’s edition will be held in Dublin, Ireland, in collaboration with the Irish Council for Social Housing and Co-operative Housing Ireland.

Our session – Human Stories, Shared Futures: Co-Production and Storytelling in Social Housing – will examine the power of storytelling in the public and social housing sector. We aim for everybody to walk out of the session with powerful stories to enact change.
During the session, we will feature several video stories produced by Eurhonet and EFL members. As well as hearing personal reflections from those involved in the projects, we will also gain insights from panellists on co-design, collaborative living, and community resilience. In addition, a resident-led panel will focus on voice, empowerment and impact. The session will be moderated by Professor Paddy Gray OBE.
If you are attending the Festival, join us on Thursday 5 June from 9:30-11:00 in Liffey Hall 2. Check out the full programme of the Festival.
Social Integration Topic Group meeting
The session has been organised as part of the in-person meeting of our Social Integration Topic Group, led by Dragana Curovic. The meeting will be held from 4-5 June 2025.
On the first day, we will hold an Open Space Workshop on the topic of ‘co-creation’, in collaboration with EFL and kindly hosted by Tuath Housing Association.
We will also hear from David Silke, Director of Insights and Operations at the Housing Agency. The Housing Agency is a government agency aiming to accelerate housing supply by providing expertise, support and resources, to deliver high-quality homes in vibrant communities. A study visit will complete the day’s programme.
The second day will begin with our session at the ISHF. Participants will then have the chance to explore the many interesting exhibitions and seminars taking place at the Festival. This is an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge and best practice from across the world.
