Irene Egea Saiz, Communications and Outreach Coordinator (Maternity Leave cover)

Irene joined the Eurhonet Secretariat in September 2025 as Communications and Outreach Coordinator, covering for Rose during her maternity leave. She will be with Eurhonet for one year. She has over five years of experience in communications, particularly in EU-funded sustainability projects. Having previously worked for the European Heat Pump Association, she understands the needs and dynamics of membership organisations. She also gained valuable experience as Communications Coordinator at REVOLVE, a communications group focused on sustainability. She holds a degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. Irene speaks Spanish, Catalan, English and French.
