Registrations are open for our next Social Integration Topic Group meeting, hosted by our Italian member Arezzo Casa Spa. Following the annual theme selected by our Topic Group participants, this meeting will focus on social value best practice and challenges.

Our Social Integration Topic Group examines how housing providers can promote and foster social integration. We share best practice to better support tenants in vulnerable situations, including young people, migrants, refugees, and people experiencing poverty. In addition, a current focus is finding effective methods for tenant involvement and measuring social value.

Social value best practice

During the meeting, we will explore a number of inspiring projects led by Eurhonet members. These include a self-developed tool for the development of stock and neighbourhoods, a social integration collaborative project, and an experimental project in social mediation.

In addition, we are pleased to welcome representatives of Cooperativa Sole as guest speakers at the event. We will gain insights into a new collaborative housing model in the city of Bolzano that addresses social vulnerabilities and housing emergencies through an inclusive, community-based approach.

These discussions will set the perfect basis for our work on the second day. Every participant will present a challenge or best practice example from their organisation on the topic of social value. Each presentation will be followed by an interactive discussion with the group, facilitating knowledge exchange.

The workshop builds on our previous work on social value, which was selected as the annual theme by Topic Group participants.
