HWB partnered with Eintracht Frankfurt Fußballschule to host an annual football camp for local children. The professional training camp is led by coaches from Eintracht Frankfurt’s youth clubs as well as former Bundesliga players.

A summer event for the neighbourhood
HWB’s goal was to create a special event for children in the neighbourhood, especially those who might not have the opportunity to go on summer holidays. Launched in 2021, the football camp has just completed its fourth edition.
The camp is open to all children aged 7 to 14 who live in HWB apartments. They only need to enjoy playing football; there is no requirement to be a member of any football club, and participation is completely free. Each child receives a full uniform, including a jersey, shorts, a water bottle, and a ball to practice at home. At the end of the camp, participants are awarded a certificate and a personal photo.
HWB tenants are informed about the camp through the regular HWB newsletter. Parents or guardians can reserve a spot by simply sending an email to HWB.

Professional-level football training
Eintracht Frankfurt competes in the Bundesliga, Germany’s top football league. The children therefore receive professional-level training. The camp is also supported by local football clubs in Hofheim. Each year, a different venue is selected, allowing the camp to take place in various areas of the city. In return, the hosting club is given a few spots to invite their members to participate.

Supporting girls’ participation in sport
HWB’s football camp is open to both girls and boys. Additionally, HWB gives away places for a football camp designed specifically for girls, organised by Eintracht Frankfurt Fußballschule outside of Hofheim. This camp lasts several days and offers girls the chance to receive further high-quality football training.
