Christian Camus, Sales and Marketing Director at Valloire Habitat (France) was the latest Eurhonet member to participate in our Exchange Programme. We caught up with Christian, who talked us through his online Exchange with Hyresbostäder (Sweden).
“The goal of the Exchange was to share marketing approaches and learn from each other (…),” explained Christian. “Even if we operate in very different countries and very different sets of rules and regulations, we do face the same topics and problems about knowing better our tenants, imagining the best products and services, as well as a better customer experience.”
Through the Eurhonet Exchange Programme, colleagues in all roles have the opportunity to gain skills and ideas from their counterparts in other countries. Although usually held in person, the Exchange Programme is flexible to meet the needs of our members and can be held online.
The Exchange is beneficial for both the ‘visiting’ and ‘hosting’ participants. Lars Löfgren, Hyresbostäder, commented: “This is when Eurhonet really is at its best: when we can share the good ideas and the good work we do.”
What would Christian say to people thinking about doing the Eurhonet Exchange Programme? “Just ask Alessandro and Rose [at the Eurhonet Secretariat] to help you find the perfect match for the topics you are interested in. Then prepare to give your experience and feedback, and to receive so much: new ideas, other points of view, and new professional contacts.”
